Dear Mr. Maxwell, I am 34. I found this book on the shelves of my local library. The cover is what got my attention and I decided to read it. I was enchanted from the beginning! I loved it! I have to say my favorite part was Deidre and the witches, you gave them such character! I am glad she was saved and will be in the next book. I look forward with anticipation for the release of the next book. The Faerie Door will definitely be joining the shelves of my own personal collection and when my kids who are 4 and 3 are a little older I will be reading it to them!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing story with us! Looking forward to more from you! Eileen

Dear Mr. Maxwell, I loved this book. I was reading nonstop for a week. My favorite parts were:-How Victoria's uncle was involved with Elliot and how he wouldn't have met Victoria if he hadn't lived in her uncle's house. -How Queen Ulricke and Deirdre plotted together and how(next line) -that foreshadows another book I hope there will be annother one.

I was amazed with the story from beginning to end. I love it! I'm a big fan of fantasy, myself. With that said, I enjoyed "The Faerie Door" even more than I thought I would, and my expectations were high! I really look forward to the sequal--I know it will be a hit, just like the first one.

I just finished reading this book. Even though I am not your intended audience, I'm 35, I really enjoyed the story. It was entertaining, exciting, and suspenseful. I like that it borrowed from other fairytale and fantasy stories. I shared the story with my daughter, who is quite fond of Victoria, and recommended it to my niece, mom and sister. I was disappointed that the next adventure was not in my library.

I just finished reading The Faerie Door to my kids. They loved it. Theyre looking forward to find out where the epilog is going to lead in part 2. We loved the fire dragon. The dark knight was a poetic terrifying menace. All of the characters were unique and compelling. Thanks for the fun!

I Loved the book! I just finished it today! It has everything a reader could want; comedy, adventure, mystery, fantasy, history, etc..At first glance, I thought it was a classic book written in the seventies or eighties. I looked it up to find out if it had a sequel. Instead I found out it had only been written last year. I am so glad that there are good writers in this generation. Keep up the good work, Sammie

Greetings Mr. Maxwell, I just finished previewing your book for my daughter to read and I was very delighted to find you created a very captivating world. I especially appreciate your ability to create peril and resolution without unnecessary gore and violence. Your writing was well balanced, easy to read, had enough mayhem to satisify the imagination and yet challenging enough that I wanted to keep reading. I found your characters engaging and well rounded. I could easily bring them to life while I was reading. I will be recommending your book to my daughter's bookclub and to my friends. Congratulations and I look forward to Elliot and Victoria's next adventure.

Hi, Mr. Maxwell! Your book the Faerie Door read very well! I was intrigued throughout the whole book! I don't know how you came up with such an amazing concept, but you worked wonders! I have told all my friends about your amazing book! I just could not stop reading it! I was wondering if you are going to write a sequel? Well if you do i bet it will be amazing! Also i would absolutely be more then thrilled if after you finish the sequel perhaps you could right a book about mermaids, princesses, elves, or dragons????? Mabye perhaps you could make up your own species, that is in hiding on our planet and isn't discovered until it's species are threatened? I dont know it may be far fetched, but keep on writing and i love how you create big books! I hope you take my ideas into consideration. Farewell and thank you very much! :) Your fan, Ice Tiger (My nickname!) P.S. and please email me back i would just love to hear your thought on my ideas because i hope to become a writer! Mabye you even have some tips?!

This book was absolutley amazing, and definitely full out fantasy. I was kept intrigued all throughout the book, hoping it wouldnâ??t have to end. I am very excited for the sequel and am sure it will be equally as phenomenal if not better then the first book.
